I designed this game using Adobe Flash CS3, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator. I first programmed all of the script before adding all of my artwork. The project was fun and taught me a lot. It only took me a couple of weeks to make in my free time! The idea came into my head when reviewing a game I used to play with my buddies in high school called Flip the Bottle. The object of the game was to land the bottle and you get a point each time it lands. I made a computer game version of this game where the player had to hit the space bar when the bottle completed its rotation. The principle is very similar in Skull Socket. Here, when the skulls reach their sockets the player must nail the corresponding key to get the points!
